How To Get Here

There are several routes to Lennoxville. We have provided the directions for 3 popular routes and some information regarding bus transportation to Sherbrooke.

Getting to Bishop's by car...

DIRECTIONS FROM THE DORVAL AIRPORT:

  • Upon exiting the airport, take highway 20 direction East, towards Montreal.
  • Take the exit for Champlain Bridge.
  • After the Champlain Bridge, follow directions for highway 10 East, towards Sherbrooke.
  • From highway 10, take exit 140 for highway 410 and Sherbrooke.
  • Travel south on highway 410.
  • Exit at rue King & Centre-ville.
  • Continue down rue King Ouest (direction East).
  • Turn right on rue Wellington (also route 143 south (sud))
  • Continue approximately 5 km on Wellington (143 sud) to the set of lights in downtown Lennoxville. Wellington becomes Queen street in Lennoxville.
  • At the lights, turn left onto College Street (also route 108)
  • Bishop's will be on your right hand side approximately 1 km from the lights.
  • For residence check-in, use the 3rd entrance beside the football field.
  • Duration of trip: 2.0 hours.

DIRECTIONS FROM QUEBEC CITY:

  • Follow highway 20 West to Drummondville.
  • At Drummondville, take highway 55 South to Sherbrooke.
  • Continue on the 55 South for approximately 80 km.
  • Take exit 140 (for Sherbrooke and highway 410).
  • Travel south on highway 410.
  • Exit at rue King & Centre-ville.
  • Continue down rue King Ouest (direction East).
  • Turn right on rue Wellington (also route 143 south (sud))

Getting to Bishop's by bus...

  • From the airport, take the shuttle bus to get you to downtown Montreal, to the main intercity bus station ("terminus", at the corner of Berri St. and Sainte-Catherine St.).
  • There are express buses leaving for Sherbrooke at every hour or two hours, depending on the exact moment of the day. The cost of a round trip is approximately $46.00. For more information on the bus ride, schedule, etc, you may contact the Sherbus Bus company at (514)-842-2281. The transit time is approximately 2 hours.
  • Once in Sherbrooke, a taxi or local buses can take you to the University.
