ELIGIBILITY:
Faculty members are eligible for course reliefs for the purpose of research through the Senate Research Committee. Ten (10) such courses are available per year, and any 4A rating from a recognized granting agency automatically entitles the recipient to one of these courses.
DEADLINE:
Normally the application deadline is March 1 of the year before; however for the 2013-14 academic year, the deadline will be May 1, 2013.
ALLOCATION CRITERIA
These 10 courses will be allocated based on merit and need. They are meant to support researchers who do not currently have external funding and that as such do not already benefit from research-based course reliefs. In fact the SRC considers these course reliefs to be destined to researchers hoping to strengthen their research dossier towards an external funding application in the near future.
