5th Annual Research Week, March 22nd - 26th, 2010
Every March, during Research Week, Bishop’s University celebrates one of the key activities of its faculty and students. This year, Research Week will highlight the four new research clusters which have been identified and approved as the priority research themes of the University. These are all multidisciplinary areas of research which address questions ranging from the beginning of the cosmos to the construction of cultural and social difference. They show Bishop’s at its best – with faculty and students working together across disciplinary boundaries to enrich each others’ work. During Research Week, we invite you to explore our research clusters, to attend the poster series in which our senior students present their research and to attend the lecture by our special guest, Dr. Suzanne Fortier, the head of NSERC. Research is on the move on our campus and we invite you to get involved.Michael Childs
