Stress, Health and Well-Being
The negative effects of stress on both mental and physical health and well-being are well-established, as is the role of individual differences in either amplifying or attenuating these effects. Research that improves our understanding of the factors that may help ameliorate stress and interventions that can help reduce stress is therefore key for enhancing well-being.
Current research conducted by members of the PHWB cluster under this axis include the following two sub-themes:
