Dr. Benoit Bacon
Benoit Bacon, Ph.D., is a Professor of Psychology, and currently the Dean of Arts and Science, at Bishop’s University. He was trained in perception/neuroscience and remains active in this field through his involvement with the Centre de Recherche en Neuropsychologie et Cognition (CERNEC). He has recently developed an interest in health issues and co-founded the Psychological Health and Wellbeing research cluster. In collaboration with researchers from Bishop's, University of Sherbrooke and University of Montreal, he is investigating a number of health issues including the short- and long-term consequences as well as the genetic correlates of concussions, the causes and consequences of anxiety as well as access and quality of health care for linguistic minorities.
