Student Mailboxes

One of the many things that makes the Bishop’s experience unique is direct access to mail right here on campus.

What does that mean?
Well…it means that all students are entitled to a Bishop’s mailbox in the Student Union Building at the centre of the campus, so there’s really no need to head into town to the post office.

It also means that friends and family have the opportunity to stay connected with a loved one studying at Bishop’s by sending mail or, more importantly, care packages!

How does it work?
Students get a mailbox key when the semester begins and they check their mail whenever it’s convenient. Most check on their way to or from class.

The dedicated mailroom staff sends and receives deliveries through Canada Post and other courier services such as Purolator, FedEx or UPS. They always take excellent care when assisting students, staff and faculty with their shipping needs.

Want to send mail or care packages to a Bishop’s student?
Here’s the proper addressing standard.

Example:Mary Smith

It’s always better to know the box number but if you forget or if you don’t know it, the mailroom will still make every attempt to deliver the item to the student.
