An identification card, issued annually by the Conference of Rectors and Principals of Quebec Universities (CRÉPUQ) is available from the University Librarian. This card gives faculty and graduate students borrowing privileges from other university libraries across Canada.
Since January 2003 undergraduate students are allowed reciprocal borrowing privileges at Québec university libraries. Students wishing to obtain borrowing privileges from other university libraries within the province of Quebec may apply to the University Librarian of their home institution for an identification card. This procedure is subject to change.
The card holder must respect the regulations in force in the lending library, especially those concerning fines or other charges. Users contravening these regulations risk losing their borrowing privileges, not only at the library in question but also at their own university.
