Printing from your laptop in the labs

  1. Log in to myBU
  2. From the menu bar, select ITS, then Offices & Services
  3. From the list on the right, click Laptop Printing
  4. If prompted, click Save to save the program on your computer somewhere you will be able to find it again (like your Desktop)
  5. Once you have saved the application, double-click on it to run it. Another popup will appear that explains the service and how to use it. Read the instructions carefully, enter the requested information and click Install
  6. When the installation of the selected printer is successful you should see another popup informing you the installation is done (this may take a few moments). Click OK - you will now be able to print to the selected printer.
  7. TO RECONNECT: After shutting down your computer, or disconnecting from WIZABU, you will not be able to print to the lab printer again until you “Reconnect” to it.  To do this, open the application you saved in Step 4. Then simply choose the printer from the list, enter your BU username and password and click Reconnect instead of Install. 

* Please Note: You must be connected to WIZABU to use this application - it will not work from ZAP or any other wireless service. Click here for help configuring WIZABU on your computer.

Also Note: This service is currently only available for computers running Windows (XP, Vista 7)
