ADMISSIONS INFORMATIONS

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
  • High scholastic achievement at the secondary level.

  • Knowledge of English: International students (whose mother tongue is not English) must take the T.O.E.F.L. exam as part of their admissions application. A minimum score of 580 is expected for the written test of a minimum of 237 for the computer-based test. A minimum of 85 is normally required for M.E.L.A.B. and 6.5 for I.E.L.T.S.

LENGTH OF DEGREE PROGRAMME
In general, students who have successfully completed their secondary school studies equivalent to Canadian Grade 12 are admissable to a four-year programme; while students completing the equivalent of the Québec Diplôme d'Études Collégial (D.E.C.) Are admissible to a three-year programme. Some programmes have special course prerequisites. If accepted by Bishop's, you would be expected to fulfill these requirements if they were not completed during your pre-university studies.
