Financial Assistance:

Bishop's does not offer loans, bursaries, or scholarships to international students. After completing one year of study, however, international students are usually eligible to compete with Canadian students for awards.

ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS FROM THE UNITED STATES
Bishop's University awards five entrance scholarships valued at $2000, renewable annually, to American students. Candidates should have 3.0/4.0 GPA and/or 85% average and/or 1250 SAT score. The application forms will be sent to eligible candidates with their letter of admission.

TUITION FEE EXEMPTIONS
Students of French citizenship pay Québec status fees rather than international fees.

GOVERNMENT OF CANADA INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAMS For more information, visit the Government of Canada International Scholarship Programs: http://www.scholarships.gc.ca/noncanadians-en.html

EXEMPTION FROM DIFFERENTIAL TUITION FEES
A limited number of international students from countries with which Québec has signed an agreement on tuition fees are exempt from the differential tuition fees they would normally have to pay. They therefore pay the same fees as Québec students. However, these students are still required to pay other registration-related fees, including miscellaneous fees, fees for course materials, student association fees, health insurance and hospital insurance premiums. For more information about this program, international students should contact the authorities of their country. Please visit this link to see if you are eligible.
