The Bishop’s University Singers is composed of 100 students, faculty, alumni and community members. The Singers performed Mendelssohn’s Elijah, with the Orchestre Symphonique de Sherbrooke at a sold out Basilique-Cathédrale Saint Michel in Sherbrooke.

![]() Principal Goldbloom addresses a press conference to announce a $29.5 Million renovation and expansion of the John H. Price Sports and Recreation Centre. The project is supported by three levels of government, seated at the table, M. Daniel Petit MP for Charlesbourg-Haute-Saint-Charles representing the Federal Government, Mayor Jean Perrault representing the Ville de Sherbrooke, and Mme. Monique Gagnon Tremblay, Provincial MNA for Saint-Francois and the President of the Quebec Treasury Board. ![]() Majestic McGreer Hall – Bishop’s oldest building dating back to 1846 ![]() Free The Children founder Craig Kielburger, in one of his first public events after returning from Haiti, brought an urgent message to Bishop’s: developed nations must invest and work together more effectively to relieve the crisis of poverty around the globe, not only in the wake of horrific natural disasters, but over the long term. ![]() Indie band The Wooden Sky headlined Rock4Water, a BU environment club initiative to raise awareness of its "Think Global, Drink Local" campaign to make Bishop’s a bottled water free campus. ![]() BU’s annual Charity Fashion Show, featuring student models and local designers, was a huge success raising over $7000 for UNICEF Haiti Relief. ![]() Maude Barlow, water activist and Chairperson of the Council of Canadians, spoke at Bishop’s as part of the student-led “Think Global, Drink Local” campaign to make Bishop’s a bottled water-free campus. ![]() The Williams School of Business Team won the NIBS (Network of International Business Schools) case competition held in Kolding, Denmark in early March, beating Memorial University (NF) in the final.
