WILLIAM MITCHELL
BA ’68, DED '70
Football, Hockey

William is perhaps the best all-round athlete to don a Gaiter uniform. A consummate performer, he excelled at football and hockey and was captain and Most Valuable Player in each of these high profile sports. 

William was also exceptional at individual sports such as squash, tennis, cricket and golf.

A true gentlemen, Will has distinguished himself as an educator and teacher.

He is now the Headmaster of Selwyn House School in Westmount, Quebec.

William is married to Joann Egar (BA ’71) and they have a daughter Martha.


PETER MUNZAR
BA '67, DED '71
Basketball

Basketball was Peter Munzar’s game and he was a master of it. From 1964 to 1971 Peter was unstoppable. During that period he was a league all-star and led the OSLAA in scoring. He held the Bishop’s record for most points in a single game, career points and most number of made foul shots.

In addition Peter led the Gaiters to a bronze medal at the National Championships in 1967 and was chosen as a first team All-Canadian that season.

He has since become Head of the Business Department at Caledonia High School ion Caledonia, Ontario.

He is married to Joanne and they have a daughter Amanda and son Mark.
