Lackluster first period sends Women's Hockey to 6-2 defeat
The Polar
Bears dropped their only game of last weekend, a 6-2 loss to the
Sherbrooke RW.
SATURDAY:
SHERBROOKE RW 6, POLAR BEARS 2
On Saturday, the Polar Bears dropped a 6-2
decision to the Sherbrooke RW senior team. The Polar Bears got
off to a slow start, and fell behind 3-0 in the first half of
the first period. The Bears rebounded in the latter stages,
keyed by goals from Sacha Vanasse Gauche and Lindsay Hamilton,
but the visitors cruised to the 6-2 victory. Undisciplined play
also cost the Bears, as they took ten minor penalties in the
game.
