LENNOXVILLE – The Bishop's Gaiters Men's Basketball team raised nearly $750 for the Alexander Galt Regional High School's Christmas Basket program last Saturday.

The program helps the Galt community meet the needs of many Galt and Eastern Townships Learning Centre families

The squad spent the afternoon at the Lennoxville Provigo store bagging groceries, carrying bags out for customers and collected donations for the program, raising a total of $737.

The Gaiters return to action on December 28 in the Wesmen Classic, where they will face the host Winnipeg Wesmen in the tournament's first round.
