Men's Rugby: Bishop's shut out at Sherbrooke

On Sunday, the
Bishop’s Gaiters men’s rugby team came out on the wrong end of a 14-0
decision against their crosstown rivals the Université de Sherbrooke
Vert et Or.
Sherbrooke was able to take advantage of Bishop’s youth up the middle,
and scored an early try to take a 7-0 lead. The young Gaiters, having
lost 22 players to graduation, held the Vert et Or without another score
until the very late stages of the match, when Sherbrooke was able to
push across a final try.
This week, men’s rugby has one game, this Friday (Sept. 14) at home to
ETS. Kickoff at Optimist Park is scheduled for 7 p.m. |
