Cailin McCulloch selected on Provincial All-Star Team

Oct. 27, 2006 – Cailin McCulloch of the Bishop’s Lady Gaiters rugby team has been selected to the Quebec conference All-Star Team for a second consecutive season.

The third-year business student from Beaconsfield, Qc. has been a key leader for a young Lady Gaiters squad which has been hurt by injuries in the second half of the season.

The 5-foot-8, 20-year old co-captain played brilliantly at the inside centre position and was consistently one of the hardest working players on head coach Eryn Hessian’s team.

Cailin McCulloch élu sur l’équipe d’étoiles provinciales de rugby féminin

27 octobre 2006 – La porte-couleur des Lady Gaiters de l’Université Bishop’s Cailin McCulloch vient d’être choisi pour une deuxième année de suite sur l’équipe d’étoiles de la conférence québécoise de rugby féminin.

L’étudiante-athlète de troisième année inscrite en administration des affaires et originaire de Beaconsfield, Qc., a été une fois de plus un pilier important chez la jeune formation des Lady Gaiters cet automne.

Âgée de 20 ans, la co-capitaine de cinq pieds huit pouces s’est principalement distingué en position de centre insérée et a dû redoubler d’effort suite aux nombreuses blessures qui ont affligées les Lady Gaiters en fin de saison.
