Lady Gaiters fall to Laval

Oct. 16, 2006 – The Lady Gaiters rugby team's 2006 season came to a close on Saturday afternoon with a 94-3 road loss to the Laval Rouge et Or, the defending FQSE champions. 

This loss, combined with Ottawa's win, officially eliminated the Lady Gaiters from the postseason for a second consecutive season. 

Injuries limited head coach Eryn Hessian's young squad to 15 players and the Lady Gaiters were without veterans Julie Snooks and Marnie Hurst for the contest.
