Polar
Bears shutout in Vermont
Jan. 29, 2007 – This past weekend the
Bishop's University Polar Bears travelled to Morrisville, Vermont to
play in the North American Hockey Academy Carnival Showcase.
Saturday, Bishop’s fell 9-0 to the Princeton Tiger Lilies from
Princeton, NJ.
In the afternoon the Polar Bears played the host NAHA Red team and come
out on the short end of a 6-0 score.
“Maryse Richard played goal in both games and without her solid play the
scores could have been much higher,” said head coach Karl Hunting on
Monday morning.
On February 9th, the Bishop's University Polar Bears will host the team
who will represent the Eastern Township at the Jeux de Quebec. The game
will be held at the W.B. Scott Arena at 7:45 p.m.
