Lennoxville, Sept. 26, 2005 - The Bishop’s women’s soccer team lost a pair of 3-0 decisions this past weekend. The first loss came against Laval on Friday as part of school's Homecoming activities. Chelsea-Lyn Aboud made many spectacular saves for the Bishop's squad but the Gaiters were unable to scored. Aboud was chosen Gaiters MVP's for the game. Laval's goal were scored by Melissa Faguy (43rd minute), M-C. Villeneuve (47th minute) and Maryse Gauvin (87th minute). Bishop's also lost 3-0 to the Sherbrooke Vert et Or on Sunday. Lady Gaiters will host the Concordia Stingers this Friday at 4 p.m. and will travel to Trois-Rivières on Sunday to play UQTR at 1 p.m. Bishop's is now ranked 5th in the Quebec Conference with three points, one victory behind Concordia in fourth place. |
