 McCullough,
Delaby selected to the QUFL All-Star team
Nov. 1, 2005 –
Defensive end Dan McCullough (Fredricton, NB) and wide-reciever David
Delaby (Frampton, Qc) of the Bishop's Gaiters have been selected to the
2005 QUFL All-Star team. The selections were made public today by
conference commisioner Tom Allen.
McCullough (6''3, 230lbs), was the heart and soul of the Gaiters defense
this season, recording 38.5 tackles, 28 of them solo, the most among
Gaiters defenders.
 The
third-year social science major finished second in the QUFL in
quarterback sacks with 5.5 and also recorded 8.5 tackles for a loss.
For his part, David Delaby was one of the key components the Bishop's
Gaiters offense. The fourth-year receiver caught 31 catches for 500
yards, giving him an average of 16.1 yards per reception.
The speedy, six-foot, 185 pound receiver finished third in the QUFL in
receptions while finishing second in receiving yards.
This marks the second consecutive year that the business administration
student has made the QUFL All-Star team.
