HEADLINES

Lennoxville, Feb. 14, 2005 - Friday night the Bishop's University Polar Bears womens ice hockey team hosted the Sherbrooke All-Stars and came out on the short end of a 6-4 score.

Scoring for the Bears was Anna Bertrand with 2 and singles by Jessica Frappied and Jillian Rayhar. Daniel Breau was in nets for only her second loss of the season.

Saturday the Polar Bears hosted their alumni in a spirited game won by the current team 8-5. Goals were the order of the day as they were scored early and often.

Scoring for the old girls were Michelle Dunn with 3 and Alison Yelland with 2. Answering for the Bears were Michelle McKay with 3, Kim Pursell with 2 and singles going to Jessica Frappied, Lisa Kennedy and Jillian Rayhar.

After the game everyone retired to a nice lunch given by Al Ansell at Sebby's resturant in town. A good time was had by all as old war stories were told and people caught up on each others lives.
