Gaiters lose Battle of Sherbrooke versus Vert & Or

Lennoxville, Oct. 30, 2004 - The Sherbrooke Vert & Or (3-5) defeated Bishop's (1-7) 19-14 to finish in fifth place in the Quebec conference, in front of the Gaiters.

In only its second year of CIS competition, Sherbrooke captures a second consecutive win for the first time, after outscoring Acadia 38-37 a week ago. This marks the second victory for the Vert & Or over Bishop's in 2004.

Alain Dorval and Diego Ratelle scored rushing touchdowns for the Vert & Or, while Maxime Dufault had 110 yards on 19 carries.

Justin Kimmel scored the Gaiters lone TD and collected a game-high 113 yards on 20 carries.
