Polar Bears win another Friday night, hoping to avenge an earlier loss, the Polar Bears women’s Ice Hockey team took to the ice against the Ayer’s Cliff Raiders. For a while it looked like more of the same as the Bears spotted them a three goal lead in the first period. Then in the second and third periods the team battled back, scoring seven unassisted goals. Michelle McKay had her best game as a Polar Bear, scoring six goals for the Polar Bears. Saturday saw the Polar Bears hosting the Polar Bear Alumni team. Once again it took a while for the team to get started, but the current team beat the Alumni squad 5-3. Michelle McKay once again led the way with four goals, with Cindel Chartrand scoring the fifth. Goalie Maryse Richard was solid in nets for both wins. The next game will be Friday night at the W.B. Scott rink.
