CALACS – Aggression Estrie
Women’s Center for help with and to fight against sexual assault. 24 Hr. Crisis and Support Line. Aggression Estrie supports women victims of sexual assault. It has a confidential phone support line, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staff members offer referrals, ongoing monitoring, as well as legal, medical, and social accompaniment. They also offer support to the families and friends of victims.
MomentHom – (Centre d’entraide pour hommes de l’Estrie)
This organization works with men seeking assistance for a variety of issues, including family problems, relationship troubles, abuse, sexual assault, job loss, bereavement, and financial difficulties. Men counsellors are available in person for ongoing psychological and social support, and are also available by phone from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
CIVAS Estrie (Centre d’intervention en violence et aggressions sexuelles)
CIVAS offers support to men and women who have committed or are concerned they may commit an act of sexual aggression. Services include individual counselling and group therapy.
JEVI centre de prévention du suicide (Youth Suicide Prevention Center)
This hotline offers counselling for suicidal individuals, counselling for relatives and friends of a suicidal individual, and grief counselling for people affected by a suicide.

Offers accompaniment to CALAC for assistance, and meetings with an Intervener. This Center offers sexual assault services for women, including confidential counselling in a safe space. The Center deals with all forms of sexual assault, including rape, date rape, incest, harassment and stalking, assault in a school setting, gang rape, and more.
Bishop’s Gender Equity Centre
This student-run group at Bishop’s, coordinates campaigns on campus to raise awareness related to women’s rights and gender issues, including sexual violence and discrimination.
