Principal’s Circle of Excellence

Principal’s Circle of Excellence

Established in 2016, the Principal’s Circle of Excellence is a new recognition for Bishop’s students created to identify and acknowledge their well-roundedness beyond academics.  As members of the Principal’s Circle of Excellence, selected students will receive mentorship from senior leaders, faculty members, as well as alumni and other community leaders to help introduce and prepare students for various experiential learning opportunities on campus and to prepare students for fellowships, graduate programs and national competitions such as 3M, Rhodes and Fullbright Canada.

To be eligible students must:

1.     Have a cumulative average of at least 85%
2.     Have 30 or more credits remaining in your degree
3.     Submit a statement of up to 800 words which highlight your achievements and aspirations
4.     Complete the Principal’s Circle of Excellence application form below

Applications must be submitted no later than February 1st.  Each Academic Dean will recommend up to 10 students to the Academic Officers Committee who will then select up to 20 students from across the university to be part of the Principal’s Circle of Excellence.  Selected students will be notified through their UBishops email account.
