Johnny Reid wins big!

Bishop’s University wishes to congratulate alumnus Johnny Reid’98 for his success at the 2009 Canadian Country Music Awards on September 13 in Vancouver.

Johnny went into the evening with nominations in six categories. He was called to the stage for five awards at the ceremony on Sunday: Album of the Year (Dance with Me), Video of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, the Fans' Choice Award and songwriter of the year for "A Woman Like You."

We look forward to welcoming him back to Bishop’s University for Homecoming Weekend October 1-3, 2009 as part of the inaugural Top 10 After 10 group. Johnny will be performing in Centennial Theatre on October 2.
