DONALD LECTURE SERIES WILL WELCOME TERRY MOSHER – Marie Henein to speak this Friday

Bishop’s University is proud to announce that Terry Mosher, O.C., widely considered as Canada’s preeminent cartoonist, will visit our campus as part of the Donald Lecture Series.

Mr. Mosher, also known as Aislin, will talk about his 50 years as a cartoonist. He will present his work and launch his new book on Wednesday, March 15, at 7 p.m. in Centennial Theatre.

The next speaker in the series is Marie Henein. She will appear this Friday, February 10, at 7 p.m. in Centennial Theatre. Ms. Henein will share her experiences as a defense lawyer in Canada. She has been repeatedly recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers by Canadian Lawyer Magazine and was the 2013 recipient of the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Laura Legge Award.

A new date for Senator Murray Sinclair’s postponed lecture has yet to be announced.

Into its 9th season, the Donald Lecture Series brings speakers of national and international renown to the Bishop’s campus to provide insight, provoke thought, and stimulate debate on the most compelling issues and events in the world today.

The series is made possible thanks to the generous support of Bishop’s alumnus John Donald ’60, DCL ’12. All lectures are free of charge, open to the public, and available for world-wide live stream viewing. For more information on the series, including speaker biographies, lecture descriptions, and public live-stream broadcast information, visit the Donald Lecture Series website.
