An introduction to Eastern religious traditions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism and Shinto). In addition to concepts, beliefs and cultural expressions of each of these traditions, the course will also consider methodological issues pertaining to the study of religion as an academic discipline.
