An introduction to the experimental approaches, diagnoses, classifications, viewpoints, and therapeutic techniques used in abnormal psychology. The interaction between genetic predisposition and environmental stressors in the etiology of abnormal behaviour will be empahsized. Stress and anxiety disorders will be presented and discussed.
Prerequisites: PSY206 and PSY207 or the equivalent PSY107
Students who have taken PSY341 (Abnormal Psychology) may not take this course for credit.
