A study of political structures and processes in the Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. While largely based on the comparative approach to the study of politics, the programme will also highlight special features in each Nordic country. This course will also draw on comparisons between the Nordic countries and Canada.
