Each student is required to carry out independent, publishable research that is presented in the form of a thesis. The research is conducted under the supervision of a faculty member or supervisory committee. The thesis will be evaluated externally and must be successfully defended in a meeting for which the presentation of the thesis results is open to all members of the academic community.
