Using the rich historical resources of the Eastern Townships, including its various archives, museums and historical societies, students will learn about, and do, the work of public historians in the fields fo local history, material culture, heritage and preservation. Readings, lectures and films will also be used to supplement students' experiences of public history and the contexts in which it operates.
