This 6-credit monograph, under the supervision of a mentor assigned by the School of Education, permits the student in the final stages of his/her program to use the knowledge acquired to inform the designing and composition of an original piece of scholarly writing. This document can take a variety of forms including a research report, a book, or a critical review of a body of literature. A successful graduate level monograph is an academic document that must meet the standards of scholarship established by the appropriate research community.
Prerequisite: completion of all course requirements for the Master of Education degree with a concentration in Curriculum Studies or Educational Leadership, including GSE706 - Exit Project Proposal.
