This course, designed for teachers and administrators interested in becoming effective leaders, is an introduction to the study of educational leadership. Participants in this course will be introduced to the theory and research literature on issues of leadership in general and school leadership in particular. Students will explore topics such as school-based management, invitational leadership, flexible leadership and professional collaboration and individual initiative.
