Expansion of the grammatical structures taught in French II. Description of past events is refined and is tied to the present and the furture. Introduction to the conditional and the subjunctive. Expression focusing on daily activities, personal relationships, emotions, will and wishes, hypotheses, etc. Aural comprehension is developed through the use of audio and audiovisual material.

Prerequisite: French 132 or Français 132 or French 137 (or permission of the Department)
