This course introduces students to various techniques and experimental processes used in creating intaglio prints. Drypoint, etching, as well as various contemporary approaches to plate making and printing will be covered. Technical demonstrations, presentations, and individual projects will familiarize students with contemporary practices and concepts in print media. Discussion and critique of work aim at furthering students aesthetic thinking and skills.
