This course will allow students to focus on the challenges and joys of drawing and painting outdoor subjects. Through field and studio projects you will work with a range of approaches to the landscape and to making art about the natural world.





Topics will include: creating an image of space, colour and light, the emotional or expressionist landscape, realist approaches, conceptual approaches, textures and plant forms, micro and macro landscapes, the natural and the industrial, mapping and movement in landscape etc., according to students' needs and interests.
