In this course, students will explore the multiple possibilities of collage, a contemporary medium derived from the traditions of painting and drawing. In studio projects using two- and three-dimensional supports in a variety of formats, students will experiment with paper, found objects, photocopies, paint, and other media. Development of visual vocabulary, technical skills and creative expression of personal concepts in a non-traditional means of expression will be the foucs of this course.
