This course will focus on strategies for the teaching of Mathematics in the secondary school curriculum. Students will gain an understanding of the general curriculum objectives, trends and teaching methods through lectures, practice in the problem-solving approach, and discussions of appropraite means for assessment. Students may do projects and assignments related to course topics at the secondary or adult educaiton levels.
