This course views the management of operations as the deisgn, management and control of business processes. The course introduces the decisions and trade-offs associated with production of goods and services. Topics include: strategy in operations and supply chain, process design and selection for manufacturing and services, capacity planning, six-sigma quality, lean manufacturing, inventory management, aggregate sales and operations planning, MRP/JIT, and scheduling operations.

Prerequisites: BMA141
