This course requires students to examine the entrepreneurial process from conception to the implementation of a new venture. It concentrates on the attributes of successful entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial teams, on their search for and assessment of opportunities, and on the gathering of resources to convert opportunities into businesses. Students will work in teams to prepare a detailed business plan and compete for the David Rittenhouse (fall semester) and Hypercube (winter semester) prizes in entrepreneurship.
