Chancellor’s Convocation Dinner for the Class of 2013. Chancellor Scott Griffin '60, DCL '02, invites you to a special celebration dinner with family members beginning at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, May 31 at The Gait in the Marjorie Donald Building. Tickets are $50 each and include cocktails, a three course meal, wine with dinner, and a sampling of songs by the actors of the spring musical. The dress code for the event is business attire. CONVOCATION WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

Start Convocation Day with an all-you-care-to-eat breakfast ($6.40 + tax) served in the Dewhurst Dining Hall from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Lunch ($10.10 + tax) and dinner ($12.35 + tax) will also be available. Tim Hortons will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Top floor of the Student Union Building).

A service of music, readings, and prayers will take place in St. Mark's Chapel on Convocation day, Saturday, June 1, at 8:30 a.m. Graduates, family, and guests as well as faculty and staff are most welcome to attend.

Stop in to see the exhibition project CONNECTIONS at the Foreman Art Gallery (next to the lobby of Centennial Theatre). The group exhibition features artworks selected from the Bishop's University Art Collection chosen by administrators, faculty, staff and alumni. Responding personally to the artworks, the participants' texts will draw out their individual 'connections', thus illuminating the portraits, landscapes and abstract artworks they have chosen to exhibit. The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.

Last minute Bishop's souvenirs & clothing will be available at the bookstore (in the Marjorie Donald Building) from 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31, and from 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. A representative from Jostens will be present at bookstore to take orders for grad rings.

Graduation photos will be taken during the ceremony by Caméléo Photo. Photos will be available for viewing and purchase on-line at http://album.cameleophoto.com within five days following the ceremony. A photographer will be available for a photo shoot with your professors, parents, and friends after the ceremony. Do not miss this unique opportunity to capture this great moment!
