BUMS (Bishop's University Music Society)
The Music Society forms the fabric of the Music Department at Bishop's. This tigh-knit group is composed of music students, students from other faculties, professors and community members who all share a passion for music. BUMS organizes events and fundraisers including the Battle of the Bands, Student Showcase and Cabaret Nights, which have become pouplar campus-wide. These activities offer additional performing experience and an opportunity to meet students in other departments. The BUMS executive committee is comprised of current students from each year of the music program and serves as its governing body. The executive also acts as a voice for music students to improve all aspects of life within the Music Department.
