Campus Ministry

The Bishop’s – Champlain Campus Ministry is ecumenical and offered to the entire campus community. It is supported financially by Bishop’s University, Champlain Regional College, The Anglican Dioceses of Quebec and Montreal, The United Church of Canada (the Montreal/Ottawa Conference and the Quebec/Sherbrooke Presbytery, The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Sherbrooke, and the congregation of St. Mark’s Chapel. A committee made up of representatives of the funding groups oversees Campus Ministry.

Campus Ministry provides pastoral services to all members of the campus community. The chaplain is available to discuss in confidence whatever interests and concerns people may have. There is also an active worshipping community that meets at St. Mark’s Chapel.

Heather Thomson is the ecumenical campus minister serving both Bishop’s University and Champlain Regional College.
