Budgeting
With the ultimate goal of providing key financial information for decision-making purposes, budgets are established within the parameters of:
- Available resources
- Le Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS) guidelines, and
- Funding programmes for short and long term planning, in line with the University’s priorities
Financial Reporting to Internal and External clients
With the ultimate goal of providing reliable and accurate information in compliance with government reporting requirements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), reports are disseminated to:
- The University’s departmental managers and academic chairs, in order for them to manage their budgets
- Internal Committees, to administer the activities for which they are responsible
- Various government bodies, as required
Payroll
- Provide accurate pay to employees
- Remit, in a timely manner, deductions to governments, partners and associations.
