Essays and Book Reviews
Each issue
IJBS will publish review essays and reviews of books by and
about Baudrillard and books on topics relevant to Baudrillard
Studies. For Volume 1-1 we offer previously published reviews of
Baudrillard’s Perfect Crime, Paroxysm and the first
Cool Memories as well as a triple review of the Verso series
released one year after September 11, 2001: Baudrillard’s The
Spirit of Terrorism and Requiem For The Twin Towers; Paul
Virilio’s Ground Zero; and Slavoj Zizek’s Welcome To The
Desert of the Real. Our book reviews section will publish
reviews of both recently published and older books of interest to
our readers. More than one review of a title may appear if
sufficiently different from those previously published in IJBS.
If you would
like to write a review of our listed books for Volume 1-2 (deadline
May 1, 2004) or would like to suggest another book for review,
please contact Gerry Coulter at:

Please type “Baudrillard Studies Reviews” in the subject line. A
list of books available for review at present follows at the end of
