Sponsorship Opportunities
Issuing Tax Receipts (according to Canadian Revenue Agency guidelines): Bishop's University Foundation cannot issue a receipt for tax purposes if signage or similar is placed at a designated area / hole. In such a case, a benefit to the sponsor is considered to be received. However, the sponsorship can be claimed as a business expense.
Note: For sponsors who wish to receive a charitable donation tax receipt, one will be mailed to you in the post tournament thank you letter to all golfers. All sponsors, receipt or not, will be listed on the tournament web site, listed at the dinner following golf (giant screen...) and also mentioned during the recognition and gift portion of the evening. We are also happy to accommodate requests for sponsors who would like to claim the sponsorship cost as a regular business expense.

1. Major Sponsor $500
- Signage at a prominent location (carts, driving range, holes 1 or 18, registration table) and at dinner
- Mention/logo on the tournament website main page
- Listing in the e-mails to participants prior to & post event
- Listing in event day handout
- Special recognition during dinner
2. Hole Sponsor $250
- Signage at tee box
- Promotional items or other displayed at the designated hole as deemed appropriate by the organizing committee
- Listed on tournament website
- Mention during dinner
Signage: Signage may be provided by the sponsor or Bishop's can have it produced at a nominal cost
