Bishop’s alumnus Mitch Kays ’09, Owner, Top of the Line Productions and member of the BU Halifax volunteer group, invites Bishop’s alumni and friends living in the Halifax area to the 1st Annual Short Film Gala at Neptune Theatre.
This fun and elegant evening includes short films, silent auction, Champagne upon arrival, live music by the “Jazzstronauts” and more! As a Bishop’s graduate, you will also receive one complimentary drink ticket and a professional photo taken at the event.

Feel like a movie star as event photographers snap pictures of everyone dressed in their finest upon arrival. The evening will begin with a great local business based silent auction, Champagne, canapés and a local jazz band.
7:20 pm – Screening Premiere “Truth Hurts”

Gaiter Classic Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament
Alumni and friends are invited to the 25th Anniversary of the Gaiter Classic Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament on Friday, June 1 at Milby Golf Club with special Honorary Chair Michael Goldbloom, Principal and Vice-Chancellor.
Proceeds from the tournament support the Department of Athletics and Gaiter athletes in a number ways, including the financing of “Gaiter Classic Awards” – awarded annually to student-athletes who demonstrate athletic excellence. In 2011, three awards were given ranging from $1,500 - $2,000 per recipient.
Tournament information:
Standard registration: $150 per golfer. Includes: participation gift, lunch, free range, golf, power cart, course competitions, steak dinner and a $50 gift to Gaiter Athletics (tax receipts will be issued).
Corporate registration: $1,000 per foursome (fivesome – $1,250). Includes standard registration plus: company logo presence day of tournament, luxury golf cart, VIP gift and complimentary wine & preferred seating at dinner.

Sponsorship: Tee boxes and greens will display sponsorship signage. A company/individual may sponsor an entire hole for $500. Alternatively, individual signs are available to be placed at a tee box or green for a fee of $250. All sponsors may also request to display product or run a promotion at their sponsored hole.

FSOP 3rd Annual Summer Shaker
Mark your calendars for a special evening in support of the Four Shades of Purple Memorial Fund (established in memory of Michel Fontaine, Cody Triggs, Kyle Pearson ’06, and Dave Teehan ’07), with proceeds benefiting the Refugee Sponsorship Program at Bishop’s University.
Last year's event saw over 150 alumni from the GTA area attend, and we're expecting another great crowd this year!

Toronto Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament
Registration is now open!
We are excited to announce that this year’s tournament will again be held at Angus Glen, on the North Course.
There will be a shotgun start at 1:30 pm. The cost per golfer will be $200 and includes BBQ lunch, golf, cart, hearty appetizers, a participation gift and a small contribution to the Jeff Cannon Memorial and Toronto Alumni & Friends Bursaries.

The Pub offers over a dozen ales on tap and an excellent menu. The Pub is “child friendly” and kids are welcomed to attend!
