Professor Hunting continues research in Malawi, Africa
Barbara is part of the Crossing Borders Research Cluster. I am part of an expanding group that encourages ELPs in a rural village in Malawi, Africa. 2011, proved to be an exceptional year to learn with our co-learners in the village and surrounding region. This project continues to develop and grow. In June, 2011 I presented a paper about “Grandmothers and Grand-daughters the right to a future” about the shifting roles of girls and women due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic (Africa) as well as the AfriGrandCaravan experience of some local Grandmothers at ARIC at the Université de Sherbrooke (an international conference).
