Jennifer has worked (since 2000) as a Research Assistant to an Epidemiologist at the Clinical Research Centre (CHUS Hospital). She writes: “I participate in a study which aims to understand the psychosocial factors in prematurity, more specifically, how social stress influences women’s health and reproduction. I am also in my second year of my Master's degree in Clinical Sciences at the University of Sherbrooke. I am happy to say that sociologists are greatly needed in the health field and that they are in demand to participate in multidisciplinary research teams. I wish to pursue my carrier in teaching sociology or research methods at CEGEP or university level.” Jennifer married her Bishop’s sweetheart Steven Cote with whom she has a three year old daughter (Sarah Jane).
